Meet the Speakers

Emma Webber – Patron (Guest Speaker)

Emma Webber is a Patron of the National Grief Advice Service and a powerful advocate for accessible, compassionate bereavement support. Following the tragic loss of her son, Barnaby, in the Nottingham attacks, Emma has drawn on her personal experience of grief to help others navigate loss. She is committed to ensuring that support is not only available but understood and embraced, encouraging individuals to seek help without stigma.

Emma speaks with honesty and empathy about grief in all its forms, highlighting the importance of connection, professional guidance, and shared understanding.

Through her role as Patron, Emma aims to ensure that no one faces loss alone, and that every bereaved person is supported in finding a way forward.

Charlie Austin (Former Premier League Striker and pundit)

Charlie Austin is a former Premier League striker-turned-pundit and speaker, known for his remarkable journey from non-league football and bricklaying to becoming a prolific goalscorer at the top level.

His career combined standout highs with significant challenges, including injuries, relegation, and a later diagnosis of ADHD, which he has spoken openly about in relation to performance and mental resilience.

Alongside his football career, he is also passionate about charitable work, sharing his personal experience of loss after his daughter was stillborn during his first year as a professional—an experience that has shaped his perspective and commitment to supporting others.

Now a respected and outspoken pundit, Austin brings honest insights on elite sport, setbacks, mindset, and real-life adversity, making him a compelling speaker.

This is not just a fundraiser — it is a premium, emotionally meaningful, and elegant experience.
