I lost my sister, to cancer in 2020, after her funeral I decided that I wanted to be able to help families celebrate their loved ones at significant points in their lives. This led me to train as a celebrant in 2021 and now I create, write and deliver ceremonies for births, weddings and funerals in and around Oxfordshire, each one a legacy to her. After a 40 year career based in the event management and hospitality sector I am known for my calm delivery and support for each family. By meeting with the family and friends to find out all about the loved one who has died I can then write a very personal service with readings and music that will really honour them. We will talk through the delivery of the service and I will liaise with the Funeral Directors and Chapel Attendants, keeping in touch with the family throughout.
